Chelsea: The hard situation to understand, the problem of the rollercoaster is as simple as the 1+1 problem

Just stay with us for a few minutes and read this text/analysis, and you will understand the growth of the Chelsea Football Club project, system, rotation, club goals, that Enzo Maresca, owners, and the board have established a perfect plan and strategy with full confidence in Enzo Maresca and his vision, with given time to growth and collectives teams improvement. The team will face many situations together and will gain experience and make great improvements.
Firstly, Chelsea is a growing project that has been established for many years and has great spots that are based on players’ personal improvement, getting experience, and playing young talented players – the summer acquisition in all positions with a very great involvement on academy side players, dozing the time of playing and protecting all players by the coach.
So it means that this project has a strategy behind it, and it is not just Chelsea FC, it is a (Chelsea) project that is unique, and it is based on a growth talents strategy relying on good young players, with excellent players’ rotation and protection by the coach.
It is based on:
- Returning loaned-out players from other leagues and the Premier League. They returned Trevoh Chalobah in January from Crystal Palace and did not pay big money for Marc Guehi. Relying on Chelsea players rather than baying – Returning Trevoh Chalobah– shows Chelsea’s qualities and maturity in the transfer market, leading strategy
- Returning Anselmino from the loan in Argentina instead of paying some central defenders 50 million or more.
- Relying on the players from the team, Maresca does not go into the market.
- Protecting their players by Enzo Maresca.
- Estevão Willian, with already scored goals in the pre-season, was protected and is still being protected. Did not get pressured by Enzo Maresca and was protected from the media for many months. It does not look like that to you, but if Estavao was not protected by the manager, he could be criticized by the fans and media- and it could go wrong for him completely
- That could be a situation of Milos Kerkez or some more radical examples, like with Alexander Isak for Estevao.
- Protecting Jamie Bynoe-Gittens even when it was not good.
- Returning Marc Guiu instead of paying much for another striker or not keeping Nicolas Jackson.
- Playing and using players from the first team. Only looks at his team and his players. Seeks quality from his team only.
- Respecting the goalkeeper situation, his goalkeeper is Robert Sánchez, and he plays and improves him. They did not catch Mike Maignan in the June first transfer window, so he did not sign a new goalkeeper because he respects his first GK in the team.
- Sánchez, and he is not signing a replacement. Even if some other goalkeepers would stop more shots and make more saves than Robert Sánchez, he is a Chelsea player, and another is not. Maignan, for instance.
- He does not have the pressure of results, which means he can rotate like he wants. He could be saving the players from playing every three days. He can rotate them and avoid injuries, from weak form, and can protect his players. He fully stands on top of the project and leads it wisely.
He has his team and is playing the players of Chelsea. He is playing and improving Josh Acheampong, Andrey Santos, and Trevoh Chalobah, but he is using Acheampong when he is ready. He does not use him against Tottenham because he is not ready yet. He could easily burn out in high-pressure games, playing constantly. For instance, he was playing in the central back position against Sunderland with Chalobah and Josh Acheampong in the central back position. They were slow with the ball, and Chelsea lost the game because they did not create with the ball very much. He was preparing his players for the future, not to run for winning the Premier League, which is unrealistic. That run would cost Chelsea much; players would be spent, exhausted, not ready, and would get injured with too high a rhythm of running for the Premier League trophy this season.

- If they had signed a big-name player in the central back position, it would be a different club’s structure with a different project and view, and leadership.
- Chelsea does not have the imperative of winning at every match.

- He is improving players.
This season at Chelsea is about players’ development, not about demands, causes, and winning by any means necessary—overusing the cause of players’ health and big injuries.
They will play the rotations with victories, defeats, and will try to get a good position in the UEFA Champions League because they are hard to play with in the elimination, since winning the Club World Cup in the summer and the UEFA Conference League in May. They are great at these matches.
His central defenders are very good and quality players who will become deadly in the defensive tasks in the years to follow. Benoît Badiashile, Trevoh Chalobah, Jorrel Hato, Wesley Fofana, and Josh Acheampong are very great players and defenders.
Chelsea has played the final of the Conference League, has been playing in the CWC all the matches, and the players are very tired and need to be rested and properly used.- Instead of spending the players early, Enzo Maresca is seeking a rotation in the team.
Chelsea is a project.
So, Chelsea is not just a club; they’re a project in which players are advancing, adapting, having their playing time reduced, losing and winning, but are a perfect example of a progressive club that can create dominance and become one of the most successful clubs in football. They can end up winning many trophies and becoming the best club in the world. The development of the players and their future is much more important than a football match and leading an impossible run to win the Premier League this year.
So Chelsea plays summer signing, who are now leading the project, and having very important roles in the team. And Maresca can rotate and can constantly change the line-up. The new arrivals have assured a longer roster, and the goal with them has been achieved and is being unlocked. It is very visible at Chelsea
When you see players who Maresca used in his first season in the Conference League and this season Champions League. you see so many young players who were not expected to be playing for Chelsea in Europe, but it is happening.
If you have Estevão’s goal against Ajax in the Champions League, when you see Marc Guiu scoring and breaking the record of age with the youngest goal-scorers(Estevão also), you know it is something different and fantastic.
So, Chelsea fans from the past should know that Chelsea is now playing without any pressure, and is in the development phase, for which results will not be marked as important as in the past; the goal is team development and improving the team.
They are in the stage of development, and their player strategy is very great, with every player getting minutes. The club is being led wisely. They don’t have an obligation to win every football match. The coach is using his team without ruining the head with problematic football matches failures and defeats under a big pressure. New players who were signed in the summer have made the team better, and were signed in the summer window.
They have Josh Acheampong, Marc Guiu, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, and Reggie Walsh on the team, and many others.
Of course, Chelsea will fight for the Champions League hard, positioning, and wants to move away even for a second. They are capable and can beat anybody in the Champions League elimination game system. The goal for Chelsea this season is to win the Premier League trophy this season. The project relates to the Champions League success, where they have been perfect, like in the Club World Cup and the UEFA Conference League last season.
