When there is the Champions League and other European competitions being played during the week, we have very busy Saturdays in the Premier League. Teams playing during the next weekend’s fixtures are playing strictly on Saturday, while teams that are not competing in Europe are playing mostly on Sunday.
The teams that played on Saturday are playing on Tuesday, while clubs that played Premier League matches on Sunday are playing their Champions League matches on Wednesday due to rest.
We will watch the Arsenal- Tottenham London derby– both playing the Champions League, but will play their Champions League matches on Wednesday
On the other hand, when there is no European football during the middle of the week, we are left with busy Sundays and many fewer on Saturdays.
This week we had the Champions League/Europa League/Conference League in front of us, so we had a very crowded Saturday, while we have only two fixtures on Sunday.
We will watch Manchester United and Everton on Monday at Old Trafford. White both teams out of European football this season.

Leeds- Aston Villa
So on Sunday we will watch Leeds United playing against the Aston Villa side, who are Europa League contenders.
Aston Villa has unlocked their team, their players, and their football, and have beaten Bournemouth 4:0, Maccabi Tel Aviv, and lost to Liverpool before beating Manchester City.
Prediction:
In the Europa League, they are in a very great position, winning 3 of 4 fixtures, and are coming to Leeds at Elland Road. They have better players and a team than Leeds United.
This fixture is much more important for Leeds United, who are already in the relegation zone and will have pressure on their home stadium. If Leeds United lose here, their chances of avoiding relegation will decrease.
If Aston Villa plays their football, they will win here, and Leeds will not be able to stop them.
Arsenal – Tottenham
This will be an unforgettable derby and a great football match. We expect Arsenal to be more competitive here, but we are expecting to see much from Thomas Frank’s side. This is the first time we are expecting Tottenham to play great competitive football and to be dangerous to Arsenal. We expect them to find good positions and solutions, and are expecting not an easy run for Arsenal.
After Arsenal fell in the last minutes of their match against Sunderland, we can see a very good Tottenham here. They now have a great offensively oriented team that can be strong in duels and score.
If we look at he last derby played by Tottenham against Chelsea, it does not go to their side since they had only 0,5 expected goal percentage in the full 90-minute game.
Arsenal will start without Gabriel and will have huge expectations in this derby match. The last meeting of these two teams has been on Arsenal’s side, and their last match was a friendly game in preseason in which Tottenham won 1:0.
We are expecting much from the very tactical side of Thomas Frank and are not expecting to see a completely one-sided match. If Arsenal enters the match with insecurity and mistakes, then Tottenham can easily take advantage of this.
