When this club started their Premier League campaign, we were amazed by their efforts, good tactics, but were very negatively surprised when we saw the club’s ownership. We saw this beautiful project with so much potential, but one issue was really worrying, the trouble of a rich owner with great wealth and money leading the project, without any football knowledge and personal modesty and private decency – we saw someone who we knew was gonna cost them so much, and it has happened.
The rich football owners of clubs aren’t popular in the sport for very understandable and justified reasons. We have seen Evangaelos Mariakis in the lounge, we saw his gestures and body language, and we knew he wanted to be asked for everything in the club.
We saw his desire and his ownership, who was being led with his firm hand, and thinking he knows better than the professionals in the club sectors. That is why many weren’t very happy with the Nottingham Forrest project at the same beginning– The Nottingham Forrest number 1 issue.

Nottingham Forrest sample shows us how it is not good for any club to be led by a uncommitted billionaire, without good involvement, respect, structures leading, knowledge, good and wise investments, and having a course of a good sports score, with a good group led by a good manager who understand the football game and its principles and narratives and lead it in a very good way by good results soo he is respected and valued by his works.
But he had all this. Why has he given up on it all?
We are not dealing with that- we deal with a person who only sees his own importance and is ruled by fear and money, not the slightest appreciation of others. – his employees and fans.
Without any decency, respect, basic manners, behavior, or game understanding, he was in the stadium lodge getting his needy attention. His disrespect for his coach, fans, players, and everybody has cost Nottingham Forrest the most.

When he stepped down from the stadium lounge to the pitch to talk to Nuno Espirito Santo after a loss last season, that was the day it all finished for Nottingham Forrest, the project was stopped by the owner himself. He wanted to sack him at that particular moment. Nottingham Forest’s coach, who was second in the Premier League for most of the season, was replaced. Yes. He just continued to lead a club, so until he was sacked and got some great redundancy money from the Greeks. He knew he was replaced; he didn’t resign because of his former contract. Evangesol Marinakis has given Santo the biggest sign of disrespect and unappreciation given in modern football and sport globally.
Marinakis sacks Nuno Espirito Santo, that is a picture of today’s Nottingham Forrest. – Football allows it. They should not be pitied and felt sorry for; they should be ridiculed and made fun of.

This is the problem of the number one in Nottingham Forrest – when you see an arrogant billionaire, who is owning and leading the process without much common knowledge, you know it will get very bad and ugly looking in the end.
Last year’s Nottingham Forrest
The team of Santo was competing with the hardest teams in the English First-tier Football Division of- Premier League. They were a growing project, the manager was very accepted, they had constructed a very strong team with a respected starting eleven, they had great leadership and chemistry, the coach was very well respected, he was using good substitutions and created a team for the same top of the PL. They were about to catch Champions League football last year.
They did not qualify, so the manager was replaced at the beginning of the new season. They were European and Premier League top stories, now it is all gone forever, for Nottingham Forrest.
Santo lost a few games in a row last season against the hardest teams in England, and he competed for the Champions League until the 38th game. He was replaced by Marinakis for Ange Postecoglou.
This project has been stopped by no other than its owner- that is the problem Number one. The number 1 problem will be here in the next year, also. They will spend this season in a relegation battle, where Angre was almost last year with Tottenham. The number one will be there.

Today’s Nottingham Forrest
After having four defeats in 6 games, the ambitions have fallen, and reality is rearing to the City ground, and that is a very brutal reality that knocks on their door and tells them they are not chasing for the top position, as they did last year, they are trying to catch the low positions.
There is no more help from Murillo, Milinkovic, Sels, and Aina, who were used very well at the end of last season. Even Wood isn’t that player anymore.
