Many Premier League teams have improved their performances since the beginning of the season. Premier League clubs started the season in the middle of August, and many struggled to stay competitive due to the strong Premier League rhythm. Many players who have improved and developed individually and collectively are now being called up for international duty to represent their country during the break in league and club football.
That means the leagues are on hold (also Premier League) while the national team will be playing two qualification games, the same as friendlies, which will be played by the teams that finished their qualification cycle. National teams that didn’t finish their qualifications for the World Cup will play two qualifying matches for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026.
The qualifications for the FIFA World Cup 2026, which will be played in the USA, Canada, and Mexico, will be played in a new system with 48 national teams participating, including three hosts who will be competing for the World Cup glory in the summer of 2026.

England national team- Review

In the end, we will focus our attention on the English national team. England has produced in the last few years a very great number of high-quality players in all selections, especially the U21 and senior one. This very talented generation can give England extremely good and effective football and get many trophies.
After last year’s European Cup loss in the finals against Spain England National Team is aiming for the highest position in the upcoming World Cup. The expectations are very high and can be matched by winning the trophy. That is possible because England has a team that can undoubtedly do that. The problem lies in the fact that Tomas Tuchel, who has been given the confidence to lead the English national team, isn’t as good as many think; he isn’t a tactical genius and doesn’t produce player development. His visions and views are not good enough for the first England national team.
England would need a manager who understands and modifies the game. He should start from a defensive area and implement the backs in direct play with a midfield. Just like Mikel Arteta did with Arsenal, with some fantastic football involving both sides, for creation, good passing towards- involving in the middle, and making an impact in the offensive part of the game.

For example, England has backs like Liveramento, who are so perfect in defending and good in the offensive part, so the backs can be used smartly in the creation of the game and can combine with a very good midfield, so with attacking threats all over the place, England has the team, England can easily create chances and score important goals.
He needs to adapt his back in line with the best qualities, like Frank with Spence and Arteta with Timber and Calafiori. Then, to combine passes from central defenders to the back and midfield while the wingers are opening on the opponents’ side.

That defeat of Senegal does not present a problem, because Senegal is a very strong team, and very hard to play against. It was pretty clear that Tomas Tuchel’s team has been struggling very much with taking the ball from their part to the center and then on the field to on opponent’s side by passing. This basic element of the football game is lacking for Tuchel’s teams and play. The bad thing is that he was pretty much unemployed for years after Chelsea’s departure, so he could get rusty.
England needs well well-trained coach with an idea; this talented generation can’t be ruined by pushing somebody who can’t have much success. Maybe I can be wrong on this because maybe he didn’t start to implement his idea and is going match to match. Also, he truly is unlike to insist so much on tactics and discipline like his predecessor. He is more likely to do it in a moment.
