“This Is How You Do Business, Dave!”

Tottenham are simply Tottenham. The club is still run by the same people who have been in charge for years. They have not suddenly been replaced by a new group, nor have they unexpectedly evolved into an administration that consistently acts in the club’s best interests. They are the same people who dismantled Tottenham over the last two years to such an extent that only relegation could have made things worse.
The real question is: why did they sack Thomas Frank? How did almost every player end up injured, and why did they bring in Igor Tudor seemingly without a clear long-term plan, only to secure survival? Later, they turned to Roberto De Zerbi and were fortunate that West Ham United were defensively and offensively disastrous.
After two seasons in the Premier League, the club has clearly shown that its leadership is incapable of taking Tottenham any further. Tottenham have become known for signing players with significant individual quality who fail to contribute collectively and do not improve the team as a whole.

Players such as Dragusin, Danso, Kudus, Tel, Kolo Muani, and Richarlison fit that description. Tottenham have become a destination for footballers whose careers failed to develop as expected at major clubs, yet who remain attractive options because the club can afford them.
Too many players contribute little, spend long periods injured, and are unavailable when the team needs them most.
The club continues to sign individuals for whom Tottenham is merely another stop rather than a project, players who already carry disappointments from previous clubs. What exactly is Kolo Muani doing at Tottenham?

Why does the club keep buying talented individuals instead of building a balanced team? Why do they continue changing managers when what they need most is stability and a long-term vision under one coach?
That is the answer to Tottenham’s problems. The real issue lies in the recruitment strategy, which has repeatedly produced poor decisions and disappointing results.
“Tottenham have now signed Senesi from Bournemouth. Senesi is not a high-profile addition with undeniable quality, but he must fill the gap in defence. He is needed extremely. He may be Tottenham’s most important signing because the defence desperately needs strengthening. “
“The Argentine defender will be crucial in August, September, and October when the Premier League season begins. It is possible that he will be injured at times and will not be available, even though he is the most important player for this team.”

They need a good and consistent defender who has high ratings and respective stats. If he is not performing at his best, Tottenham will continue to concede goals and will be damaged by high pressure and an uncertain future.
This transfer is panic. Pure panic.
However, this transfer reflects more than panic. It once again suggests that Tottenham have not changed their philosophy and still fail to understand that big names alone do not win matches (Conte and Mourinho cease).

What they need is a coach capable of building a cohesive team. Igor Tudor, Thomas Frank, and Roberto De Zerbi have all struggled to solve the same underlying issues.
Tottenham need to eliminate the culture of inflated egos, reset the club’s standards, and start again from scratch with this team and this group. Those who are good enough and committed enough should play. Those who do not care or fail to give their best for the shirt must leave.

The club needs a strong manager with the character and authority to confront everything that has been done poorly over the years. The foundation of any rebuild must be removing players who do not contribute to the team. It is time for De Zerbi to move on from such individuals and address the mentality problems within the dressing room. Richarlison is a prime example, having repeatedly been unavailable through injury during crucial moments of the last two seasons.
Two weeks later, Thomas Frank was sacked, and everything began for Tottenham Hotspur.
