Marmoush Must Play for Manchester City Now — Guardiola Needs to Bench the Weak and Out-of-Form Erling Haaland!

Erling Haaland has become a problem for Manchester City. A player who dominated at the beginning of the season has been delivering extremely below-average performances for months. His level of play is not acceptable, and Manchester City have dropped points and lost its grip on the title race. Erling Haaland has missed numerous key chances, and his drop in form has cost Manchester City dearly.

However, a team like Manchester City has Omar Marmoush on the bench, the Egyptian international who is a fantastic player and, at this moment, a much better attacking option than the Norwegian. The footballer who joined Manchester City last winter from Eintracht Frankfurt is ready to play and give his best for the club.
Marmoush, who covers offensive positions in the team, can also play in midfield. Haaland’s mentality and mindset are troubling. He does not have anything to do with Ronaldo’s mentality:
He is not working hard.
Erling Haaland lacks the mentality of a champion. He does not have the mindset of a winner, lacks the desire for continuous improvement, and does not train with enough dedication and consistency. His talent is undeniably immense, which makes this situation even more disappointing when looking at his career possibilities and individual development.
His incredible form once overwhelmed many opponents of both Manchester City and the Norwegian national team. He dominated defenders with ease, but opponents eventually learned how to neutralise him and focused on stopping him. Things that once worked for Haaland no longer do. Now it is Haaland’s responsibility to find new solutions, to catch Premier League defenders off guard again, and to reach a new level through different movement, positioning, and finishing.

He needs to work in training on the aspects of his game that are not good enough, just as Carlos Alcaraz does in tennis. Improving weaknesses that are not perfect can elevate a player to a higher level and surprise opponents. Haaland is not working on his weak points, and his heading ability is catastrophic. It is a weakness that must be improved since his great height, and the potential to improve headers into his own weapon.
Haaland needs a Ronaldo mindset and has to work and improve every day. He needs individual training.
He needs this to be one of the best athletes, strikers and footballers in the world.
Haaland is still a young player and, in my view, has not yet matured into a fully developed individual. He is still a young man enjoying his early years in a privileged way. He is not yet a fully formed adult personality, but a footballer who has thrilled the football world and remains one of the best players on the planet.
Sport is a discipline that requires constant work to stay at the top. It demands continuous individual improvement, but also sacrifice for the team. Haaland must understand why he is on the bench. He must accept Guardiola’s decisions and must never be a player who costs his team.
Yesterday he was the best. Today it is Marmoush. Haaland’s current level is not good enough for Manchester City, and he must improve. He must be available to his manager, adapt his goal-scoring approach, and commit fully to the collective success of his team.
