Review of the season.
West Ham is relegated, while Tottenham survives, but problems remain.” The Premier League Analysis review and recap of the season is finally here.

Premier League champions Arsenal have officially lifted the trophy and confirmed their status as the biggest club in England this season. Mikel Arteta’s side finally secured the long-awaited Premier League crown after an outstanding campaign.
At Manchester City, the final day ended in defeat against Aston Villa, while emotional farewells arrived for Pep Guardiola, Bernardo Silva and John Stones. According to reports, Joško Gvardiol, Nathan Aké and many others could also leave the club this summer.

Manchester United defeated Brighton & Hove Albion away from home in the final round and secured third place. Liverpool beat Brentford and, as expected, comfortably booked their place in the Champions League.

The strongest finish to the season came from Bournemouth, who ended the campaign in sixth place and qualified for the Europa League next season. The surprise result of the round came from Sunderland, who defeated Chelsea at home, with the Blues also receiving a red card. That unexpected victory from Régis Le Bris’ side secured Europa League football, while the final European spot — for the Conference League — went to Brighton & Hove Albion after finishing eighth.
The biggest loser of the season was clearly Chelsea, exhausted by battles on every front. The club fought in both domestic cups, dismissed Enzo Maresca once it became obvious there would be no Premier League title race, and then turned to cup competitions without having enough quality or depth. Heavy defeats against Paris Saint-Germain destroyed the ambitions of Liam Rosenior, and from that point, there was no recovery.

Chelsea’s obsession with chasing every trophy across multiple competitions completely drained the squad. Poor results have now become the club’s biggest enemy, and criticism that once seemed impossible to imagine is now heard everywhere around Stamford Bridge.
Newcastle United also endured a deeply disappointing season. It became obvious how difficult it was for the club to balance Champions League football with domestic competition, while Eddie Howe came under major criticism after a miserable campaign.

Alongside Burnley and Wolverhampton Wanderers, West Ham United were officially relegated to the Championship. Tottenham Hotspur survived, but all of the club’s problems remain unresolved.
