As Thomas Frank, their longtime manager, left Brentford in the summer to join the Premier League side Tottenham, many thought it would be difficult for Brentford to be competitive.
The opinion was that they would highly miss the former manager, his knowledge, tactics, and experience. The look at the Brentford side and their future did not look optimistic for many present.
The arrival of Keith Andrews
He was seen as a great manager made for great things, and there was not enough confidence in the new project started with Keith Andrews, who had been appointed as first-team manager.
There has been skepticism on this topic since Andrews was appointed for the first time as head coach of the team in his career.
